I thought there would be a section at the back of the booklet of all the answers, but there isn't. I also purchased the complete answer solutions manual that goes along with the text book, and it also does NOT contain the test booklet answers. So, now I don't know where to look for the answers. So, I just have to work all the problems myself, which is a huge waste of time for this homeschooling mom of 6. I just want to look at the answers, somewhere! Seriously, how many books do I have to buy just to teach my son math?
I couldnt tell from the photo if this included the tests and solutions manuel, it does. This is a great curriculum if your child needs more practice before going into algebra.
This is our first year using the Saxon math program and we are very happy with it. Each lesson brings back prior material so that what is taught throughout the year stays fresh. There are also references to what lesson the material was taught in so that you can refer back to a prior section if need be.
These are the tests that go with Algebra 1/2 3rd edition.
Very nice! Child understands and uses it everyday. We do a lesson a day which has a good page teaching a new skill, and then it has thirty questions both reviewing and using the new skill! This is awesome. I recommend using one lesson a day. Takes about 45 min to and hour.
I needed the test forms to complete my Algebra 1/2 set. I already had the text and the solution manual for the text and tests. Unfortunately, I have the second edition and the test forms I received are from the third edition. I can still use them, but I'll have to create my own test answer manual as the answers do not match up with the second edition. The description does not specify which edition the tests are for. I incorrectly assumed since they were selling the second edition text book, that the tests would also be second edition. Live and learn.
I have a hard time finding Saxon sets sold separately. I have twin girls in the same grade so i needed another Test Forms book, but couldn't find it to buy separately, until I looked on Amazon.com. The price was ok. Could have been a little cheaper. But it meets my needs and keeps me from having to buy a whole new full set.
I got the entire set that I needed to work with my son at a very fair price. The order arrived timely and was in wonderful condition. Would certainly buy again and would recommend.
